Insomnia Cure Home Remedy

Are you tossing and turning all night instead of sleeping calmly and deeply? Do you wake up in the morning feeling as if a truck has run over you? These are signs you suffer from insomnia and it is advisable to take immediate action to treat this, otherwise in time it can lead to chronic insomnia.

Before resorting to medication, which seems the easiest and fastest solution to treat this condition, there are various insomnia cure home remedies that you can try first. One of these is EFT, which stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. This is a very powerful tool, so you should consider EFT as an insomnia cure that can make a huge difference when it comes to results.

What is Emotional Freedom Technique? EFT is a mind/body technique which is very similar to acupuncture, but instead of using needles and having to go to an acupuncturist, you use tapping and you can do it all by yourself, which means it doesn’t cost you anything.

EFT for insomnia has two main parts: a set-up statement and a tapping sequence. For the set-up statement, you tap on the karate chop area of one hand with the pads of your fingertips of the other hand, while repeating a set-up statement three times. Here are two examples of set-up statements you can use, but you can create your own based on these: “Even though I have trouble sleeping, I choose to feel calm and relaxed”; “Though I am nervous about not sleeping tonight, I choose to relax and trust that I will get the sleep I need.”

After this, you use your fingertips to tap on various points on your face and body while repeating phrases like the ones mentioned previously. Always follow a negative statement with a positive statement. Here are the points where you need to tap: just above the eyebrow, the outside of the eyebrow, below the eye, on the chin, under the nose, under your arm, on the top of your head. Do this repeatedly, take a deep breath and observe how you feel. Most people may not have instantaneous results after doing EFT for insomnia, but if you do this for a few nights, you should notice some results.  I’ve personally used EFT and found it to be very powerful.
